After spending 25 years in the legal field, I returned to school to pursue a career in counseling and earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. My desire to go into counseling stems from my personal experience of witnessing others struggle with mental health issues.
I provide therapy services with both adolescents and adults. My experience includes working in psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment center, and detention. I practice using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and strength-based approaches, all tailored to my clients’ needs.
During my free time, I enjoy treasure hunting at thrift stores, gardening, traveling, and spending time with my family and dogs (Witten the lab, Dizzy the Jack Russell, and Beast the mixed breed).
My Treatment Focus
I focus on helping individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
